Who We Are
Breathe-Ps91 was founded by Nikki Costanza, whose personal battle with lung cancer became a defining moment of faith, gratitude, and purpose. Nikki’s diagnosis of Stage 4 Lung cancer in June 2024 brought her immense challenges, yet she considers it the most blessed year of her life - one where God’s grace, the love of family and friends, and miraculous healings strengthened her in ways she never imagined.
Rather than seeing her diagnosis as a setback, Nikki embraced it as a call to reprioritize her life and commit to serving others. Through her own healing journey and participation in patient studies, she was shocked by the lack of awareness and resources available for lung cancer patients. She was also surprised to realize the stigma surrounding the disease due to its connection to smoking still exists. She knew this had to change.
In 2025, in God’s perfect timing, Nikki launched Breathe-Ps91 as a nonprofit dedicated to breaking the stigma, advocating for patients, while providing emotional and spiritual support to create a strong community for lung cancer patients and their families. Our foundation is now ready to hit the ground running. We will begin planning events, fundraising, and launching initiatives to uplift those in need.
Our Goal
At Breathe-Ps91, we are dedicated to fostering awareness, compassion, and hope for lung cancer patients and their families. Rooted in faith and a commitment to healing and uplifting the human spirit, our mission is to break the stigma surrounding lung cancer, provide patient advocacy, support all individuals, and build a community where patients can find strength and encouragement.
Our Hope
Through education, community-building, and healing focused initiatives, we aim to empower individuals on their journey, reminding them that they are never alone. Together, we breathe hope into every situation, confident that, in all things, The Battle is Already Won.
Spread the Word
As Breathe Ps-91 takes its first steps, we are excited to share the initiatives that are shaping our mission. We are building the foundation for our upcoming wellness retreat in Colorado, planning and sponsoring race events in major cities across the U.S. to spread awareness, and expanding vital outreach programs that provide support, resources, and hope to lung cancer patients and their families.
In addition, we will soon be offering patient advocacy coaching, scholarships to help cover housing during treatment, and retreat getaways for rest and healing. An application process will be launching soon for those interested in accessing these services.
We are committed to building a stronger, more supportive community, and we look forward to the journey ahead with you.
